2016 marked the 31st year of Pasta Fest and we couldn’t have asked for a better day to celebrate the milestone.
Together, Women for MACC, a group of dedicated volunteers including three Kohl’s Associates in Action teams and our loyal supporters gathered to enjoy great food, friendship, fantastic raffles, music, kids activities and, above all, reaffirm our commitment, to eradicating childhood cancer and blood disorders.
Special thanks to our sponsors, donors and celebrity servers, including Today’s TMJ4 news personalities, Brian Gotter, Bridget Shanahan, and Vince Vitrano, and the UWM Panthers Women’s Volleyball team who served up spaghetti and homemade meatballs to more than 600 guests on Sunday, March 6 at American Serb Hall.
The music of Johnny Garcia and the Tom Sorce Band was the perfect background to the festivities.
It was an incredible day, made only more special by the fact that the event raised more thank $21,000 for critical childhood cancer and blood disorders research.
Finally, thank you to the Milwaukee Independent for capturing Pasta Fest memories being made. Click below for the photos.
We are excited to start planning for our 34th Women for MACC’s Annual Couture for a Cure Fashion show, presented by Boston Store. This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, November 1 at the Hyatt Regency, Milwaukee. All returning volunteers/committee members, as well as any ladies interested in our committee are invited to join. Another year of fun and philanthropy!!!!

On top of spaghetti
all covered with cheese
I lost my poor meatball
when somebody sneezed
It rolled off the table
and onto the floor
and them my poor meatball
rolled right out the door
It simply kept rolling
on down by the lake
and then my poor meatball
passed a cute snake
It just kept on going
and went under the gate
I must catch my poor meatball
before its too late
It changed its direction
and its heading on back
I think that my meatball
is on the right track
If it stays on this trail
and keeps going straight
Then my poor meatball
will get back to my plate.
And then my poor meatball
will get back to my plate.

Looking for Volunteers. NINE- WINE AND DINE – 2nd Annual Event
Like to watch things grow? This is your opportunity. Women for MACC is hosting its second annual golf event, and we are looking to surpass our initial year in making this a fun and valuable fund raiser. There are a lot of great fun opportunities available, whether you have a little time, or considerable free time to help out. We just had our first meeting to set the goals, and begin a task list, and discuss how to make this a sought after lead event for Woman for MACC.
Contact Janelle Boeldt (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Jessica Monville (email@example.com) if you have any questions, or want to be included on the next meeting invite.
IRONWOOD COUNTRY CLUB, Moraine Drive, Sussex, WI 53089 is the location of the event, simply a lovely setting, and good course to play and relax.
