It’s through the tenacity, passion and support of our dedicated board members that allow us to help make a difference in pediatric cancer research. The mission of our organization is held with pride by each board member and each has their own personal story as to why they volunteer their valuable time to The Women for MACC.
“I continue to serve on the WMACC Board because I’m inspired by the mothers on the board whose children have fought this battle. I want them to know that they are not alone in this fight. My hope is that the MACC Fund eventually finds the cure to childhood cancer.”– Jenny Bultman
“Fortunately, I don’t have any direct relationships with children who’ve needed the help which MACC Fund supports. I began attending events because I met some women who so passionately supported the cause. Mothers, aunts and friends of children who unfortunately do need the help and support of organizations like WMACC based on early battles. Seeing the passion and motivation from those women, fiercely fighting to bring love and support into these children’s lives, it’s the reason I want to help; help in any small way that I can. They deserve to know that people are supporting and fighting for them, even if it’s a stranger.”– Mallory Markham
“I continue to serve on the WMACC board because pediatric cancer and finding cures (having lost a child to Ewing’s Sarcoma) is very, very important to me. If my volunteer work in any way, can help keep another family from the pain that our family has gone through, it will make me very happy. I hope in my lifetime that I get to see a cure found to save kids, from ANY form of childhood cancer.
I hope to accomplish a continued stronger relationship with the staff and patients at the HOT Unit and Clinic by delivering bagels/treats monthly and continuing to represent Women for MACC in a favorable light. My goal is to make sure families and patients know that women who don’t even know their child, are working hard on their behalf, to help find a cure.” – Dawn Graham
Woman for MACC is always looking for “friends of MACC” to assist in various fundraising activities and/or assist in opportunities that benefit Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
If you, or you know of someone or a group looking to get involved in a great organization as a volunteer, contact us. We always need volunteers at our events, and it’s always good to have extra sets of helping hands.
Become a Member of Women for MACC!
Join us in the fight! Membership is only $35.00 per individual. By becoming a member you’re pledging your support in ending pediatric cancer. You’ll also have opportunities to volunteer, network with others, have fun and know that you’re helping sick kids get one step closer to a cure.
YOUR DOLLARS COUNT! Every dollar works hard to support our mission. Through fundraising events, we are able to donate thousands of dollars each year to support the MACC Fund to one day find a cure.
Do you own a business? Perhaps you sell Thirty-One Gifts, LuLaRoe clothing, Wildtree products, Usborne books or another great item that our Nine, Wine and Dine attendees would love to win. We hope you will consider donating an item or two for our raffle. We’re looking for packages that appeal to women, but also men and children, as we know the ladies in attendance love to shop for those special people in their lives.
We’re also looking for donations of wine, both red and white, for the wine pull and tastings that will occur that evening. To donate a raffle item or wine, please contact Michelle Pape at 414-708-8082 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cheers to our generous donors includingMillerCoors, Cargill and Baird who are already helping to make this event spectacular! For more information regarding this event, visit us here.
