Shoot for a CureÂ NeedsÂ Your Help: Sign Up Today!
New this year, WMACC is using VolunteerSpot, an online signup and reminder tool, to organize volunteers for Shoot for a Cure on Saturday and Sunday, August 23rd and 24th. We have a number of roles to fill including raffle sales, games, and more. We hope you will join us to have fun and do good! Itâ€™s a casual event â€“ t-shirts and shorts/capris are appropriate along with comfy shoes. Be prepared to be outdoors under a tent to interact with Shoot competitors and guests. We look forward to another weekend of raising A LOT of money for childhood cancer and blood disorder research â€“ in 23 years this event has raised more than $1.2 million!

Women for MACC is excited to participate in the Goat Gives Back Program atÂ Horny Goat HideawayÂ (2011 S. First Street inÂ Milwaukee). Come eat, drink andÂ 5% of your bill will go back to WMACC. Be sure to bring inÂ thisÂ flyerÂ to ensure 5% of your meal goes back to help WMACC.
Rock Bottom Beer Tapping Fundraiser: Thursday, September 4 | 5:30 – 7:30pm Join WMACC in SeptemberÂ atÂ Rock Bottom Restaurant & BreweryÂ (740 N. Plankinton Ave. in Milwaukee)Â for our Beer Tapping Fundraiser. For just $5Â at the doorÂ (cash only),Â you will receive two beer tickets and one food ticket for a small sample of food. $4 of every $5 goes back to WMACC.
Cute Kids Voting Extended through July 25
Only 10 days remain to vote for your favorite photos for the 2015 Cute Kids Calendar to benefit the MACC Fund. To vote, follow the instructions below:

New WMACC Spirit Wear: Available Now!
WMACC is once again placing an order for our logo gear and is pleased to be offering our tried and true options like t-shirts and fleeces, as well as a few new options, including tank tops and sweatshirts.

Volunteers Needed for Brewers Mini Marathon
WMACC is once again “manning” a break station at the Brewers Mini Marathon on Saturday, September 20th. Proceeds from the event benefit the MACC Fund and a lot of volunteers are needed to help from 6 â€“ 11am. All volunteers will receive an official event crew t-shirt, aÂ ticket voucher good for a regular season game in April/May of 2015 (exclusions may apply, tickets are subject to availability) and an invitation to join the race participants at the Post Race Tailgate Party at Miller Park.Â To volunteer, follow the instructions below.
1. Access the Brewers Mini + 10k Volunteer Page.
2. Scroll down, select Aid Station #9 shift and click on the gold circle next to that shift (on the left).
3. When the shift information drops down, check the box on the left side to select the shift.
4. Enter our unique group password: @id$tation9Â (the password is case sensitive).
6. Click on the â€œAccept Terms & Conditionsâ€ box.
7. You will then be required to fill out the Contact Information form.
8. After completing the form and selecting â€œSubmitâ€ your registration as a volunteer will be complete!
Information will be sent out via email as we get closer to the race date.
